I won a place to join the National Youth Theatre, participating in the National Youth Theatre Lighting during summer 2023 at Rose Bruford College. I am now a Backstage Member of the National Youth Theatre. 

During the course I was trained by an ETC ambassador to use the lighting consoles and also gained a lot of knowledge within Lighting, however this course would enable me to further expand this. I am experienced with ETC software and also have some knowledge of GRandMA and Avolite consoles.

At the end of the two weeks with national theatre me and another member of the Lighting group put on an outdoor 90's inspired Britpop festival, this involved rigging a wall of parcans to use as blinders as well as rigging 10 moving heads for effects and washes. After rigging we had to create a busking showfile to run the one night festival with aswell as creating a lighting rig plan inside of the Vector Works software.
