Over 2 weeks in June I spent time with Cardiff Cotswold Opera on their touring production of La Boheme. Over the 4 shows I helped to design, program and operate the lighting for the company.

With the last show in Nailsworth I had to hire and implement a lighting rig into a church in order to have a rig for this show, this was a really interesting experience to put this infrastructure into a venue that didnt have it already. THe main challenge in this venue was the lack of being able to blackout the space entirely which meant that the choice of fixtures was key in order to still provide lighting. We wernt able to use generic lighting fixtures as again there wasnt the infrastructure for this.

I really enjoyed this production and it was my second time working on Boheme and it was just as fun as the first !!
